Rosie's Story

Rosie - Female DOB 5/14/2024 Domestic Short Hair Tabico -

Meet Queen Rosie, a true survivor and queen of her own little kingdom. She has a lot of love to give and is ready to find a forever family that understands her mild nature. Rosie is quietly confident and has this cute little waddle that looks like she’s walking down the red carpet. She’s not really fond of being picked up, but she adores gentle pets and forehead kisses. When she wants your attention she’ll either tap your hand with her paw or give a sweet little cry that could melt a stone. At night she will retire to her royal chambers, aka your bed, and during the day she will enjoy lounging on the couch supervising your TV choices.

Rosie is an FIP survivor, undergoing weeks of treatment and monitoring and is now among our miracle survivors, taking her from her kitten years to now being a little over a year old. FIP is no longer a death sentence for kitties, and is treatable when caught in its early stages. "Warrioress" is the perfect term for Rosie. FuRRR has treated a number of cats with success that were diagnosed with FIP.

Rosie would do best in a quiet home, and would be happiest being your only cat, but she would likely be ok with another friendly mellow kitty that isn’t looking for a buddy, but able to respect her space. No dogs or children would be best for her.

With time, patience, and understanding, she will settle into her new environment and become a wonderful companion.

Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.
