Rosie's Story
Rosie was from a feral colony at a nearby apartment complex. She was quickly captured and it was determined that although independent, she was very sociable. Rosie quickly adapted to indoor life at our rescue and had absolutely no further interest in living outdoors! She loves to sleep with her foster mom and protect her during the night.
At 2 years of age, in order to survive outdoors it appears Rosie had to become territorial. With several kitten litters under her belt, Rosie has learned how to hold her ground. Although more dominant, she has recently displayed playful behavior as she has learned how to enjoy activity with her foster siblings.
If a "cat fight" does happen to rear its ugly head, Rosie will quickly disengage and calm to the point that she can be easily picked up by her foster mom. She would be ok as a lone pet but may also accept possibly one adoptive sibling.
