Rosie's Story

Rosie is a sweet little kitty that has had a rough start in life. She came inside after living on the streets where she has had multiple litters of kittens. Rosie is timid with people at first, until she gets to trust them.

She absolutely loves to play - bouncy balls, wand toys and pipe cleaners are her favourite toys. She is not the kind of cat that will cuddle up with you or sit on your lap for pets. However, if you approach her, she will roll over for belly rubs - and if she hears you waking in the morning, she will jump on the bed for scritches.

She is small and thin and eats like a bird, likely something she got used to from struggling to survive outdoors. She is a vocal cat... not loud, but she will announce her presence... or if she wants dinner... or if she wants her foster to turn on the electronic cat toy... Sometimes she just wants to have a conversation. She is a sweet kitty who is hoping to find a forever home where she can be safe and loved. Rosie would do best as the only kitty in the home. We think she was born in February 2025.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
