Rosey's Babies's Story

Rosey is a feral kitty in town who has been cared for by our friend and adopter/foster Steph. She noticed Rosey was about to have kittens, but before we could trap her, she had them.

Time went by with Rosey still appearing for food, but without her kittens. Then one night Steph heard a kitten screaming all night in the back of a neighbor's property. It took some negotiations and disagreement, but Steph/Deanna were eventually allowed to rescue the first kitten (Waffles) from the bottom of a full sized garbage can.

Next up were the remaining 5 kittens. About 10 days to 2 weeks later, Steph spotted all remaining 5 kittens and she and Deanna corralled them and were in the process of loading them into a box to bring home, when Rosey swooped in a snatched one back.

Another 2 weeks or so went by with no sign of the last baby, while Rosey continued to return for food. Then one day.......the last little one came out and Steph got him (Pancake aka PaddyCakes) rejoined his family.

All of the kittens had really bad eyes when they were caught and had to be treated.

They have all tested negative for FIV/FeLv and have had their first round of shots. They should be available for adoption in early July, having had all of their shots and been neutered as well.

These kittens are AMAZING with various personalities to fit just the right homes. If you are interested, let us know asap so we can get you an application.

Oh and please text/or call either 816 679 2729 or 816 863 3973 if interested. We've found PetFinder's email system occasionally puts our responses in SPAM or something. So reach out directly, please.
