Meet Rosemary

Rosemary is very petite and sweet. She cuddles into your chest and doesn't want to let go. She can be pretty vocal, especially when she wants to be held. She is absolutely gorgeous. She is a clingy cat that wants to be treated like a princess and can get a little feisty.

The mother cat of Basil, Sprout, Daisy, Tulip. Clover and Rosemary tested positive for FIV.
The kittens were born 3/24/24.
The vet has advised us to completely separate the mom from the kittens for a minimum of 2 weeks before testing them for FIV. The mom was separated on 5/15.
The reason for waiting 2 weeks is to allow time for the FIV antibodies to leave kittens bodies.
If the FIV test is negative, then the kitten is negative.
If the FIV test is positive, then the kitten should be retested at 4 - 5 months old. This could be a "false positive" from antibodies that the kitten still has from his/her mom. At 4 - 5 months old, the test should be accurate.

It is safe for FIV+ cats to live with FIV- cats. FIV is transmitted through blood, such as a deep bite wound. It is also a low percentage of kittens that get FIV from their mothers.

**Adoption fee of $85 includes 1st shots, vet visits, FIV/FeLV testing and deworming. Rosemary tested positive for FIV/FeLV.**
