Rose's Story

Rose is an extremely sweet one to two year-old cat. She lived as a stray in Texas and had a litter when she was rescued. Living outside in south texas, she was at some point bit by a mosquito. When tested, she came back positive for heartworms. After talking with multiple veterinarians, there isn't a treatment for cats. We have her on heartworm preventative to kill any larvae. She's safe to live with other cats. We hope this doesn't deter you from adopting a wonderful cat.
