Rose's Story

Meet Rose. Rose is a beautiful long-haired gray cat who showed up one day in an outbuilding where, sadly, animals are too often left behind. While we don't know her exact age, estimated to be about 3 years, we do know this sweet girl clearly belonged to someone. She’s friendly, gentle, and just a little shy at first. Once she feels safe, she leans right in for head rubs, stretches out for pets, purrs against your leg, and is happily ready to soak up affection!

She loves catnip, appreciates calm energy, and is showing signs of being a good little mouser. Rose doesn’t try to go outside, and she clearly prefers indoor living. While she wasn't interested in being best friends with the dog that was in her foster home, she also wasn’t fearful of him. She has shown she would be comfortable in a home with a relaxed dog. She has also really enjoyed curling up at the foot of the bed at night. Rose would likely do best in a quiet and patient home where she can build trust at her own pace.

To learn more or meet Rose, please call 307-883-PETS, stop by on Fridays or Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm, Sundays and Mondays from 1 pm to 4 pm, or schedule a visit to stop by!
