Rose's Story

Rose is a gentle, resilient girl with a story that makes her all the more special. She was found beside a highway—scared, alone, and unsure of the world. Since being rescued, she has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate cat who is ready for a safe, loving home.

Rose gets along wonderfully with other cats and would thrive in a home where she can have a feline friend. She has a calm, easygoing nature and is happiest when she feels secure and cared for. Whether she’s curled up in a sunny spot or quietly observing her surroundings, Rose brings a quiet warmth to any space she’s in.

She’s now fully vetted, spayed, and ready to start her new chapter with someone
who will give her the stability and love she deserves.
If you're looking for a gentle soul with a big heart, Rose might be your perfect match. ??

If you would like to find out more about adopting this kitty, please call Cari at 540-226-0050 or email info@shadowcatadvocates.org.

Shadow Cat Advocates, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
After your adoption application is received, our Adoption Specialist will contact you to speak with you about the pet you are interested in. We will check with your current vet to make sure your current or former pets were given shots and vaccines as recommended. We will set up a time for you to visit the cat you are interested in and help you determine whether it is a good match for your family. We may also suggest other cats that may also fit your preferences. We generally recommend that kittens be adopted in pairs as they are so energetic and may get lonely and destructive if left on their own for too long. With a sibling to keep the kitten company there is a reduced risk of aggression and undesirable behavior.. If the application is approved, we will coordinate either bringing your new family member to you or arrange for you to pick up your new cat/kitten at their foster home. We will provide initial information on your pet and his/her routine, show or tell you how to set up a “safe room” so your new pet feels safe in their new home, and we will provide ongoing support as you and your new cat adjust to one another. Our adoption fee is $125 and includes testing, de-worming, vaccines appropriate for the age of the cat, microchipping, and spay/neuter as appropriate.
