Rosalie's Story

Rosalie is a very sweet girl who found herself at a local animal control after being found as a stray. She was clearly loved at some point because she is affectionate, well mannered and good with kids (youngest she has met was 7).

Rosalie has had a dental with extractions so her mouth feels much better. She was declawed at some point in her life. Rosalie has met a calm cat-friendly dog at her foster home and is okay as long as she is given space. At this time Rosalie is not good with other cats and initiates fights if she sees one.

Rosalie is diabetic which means that she needs insulin 1-2 times daily and receives regular blood glucose testing. She is a good girl and very easy to test and provide injections. We're very happy to teach and support her adopters in learning how to do this. We are also hopeful she will go into remission and no longer require insulin.

Rosie loves food and enjoys playing with catnip toys. She enjoys hanging out around people and can be picked up easily. She's very quiet and when she does meow almost no sound comes out. Great in the car too.

Everyone who meets her falls in love!

Second Hope Circle's Adoption Policy
We’re so excited you’re interested in adopting! Adoption Applications are sent directly to our program director. Once we receive your application we will go through the information for consideration. From the submission of the application to final consideration for adopting a cat can take 5-7 days. If your application has been considered a good match for the kitty you have applied for (or any of our kitties available for adoption), we will reach out to coordinate a meet and greet. Sometimes we have more than one application for a kitty in our care, Applications are considered in terms of best fit for the cat. Our adoptable kitty’s well being is our top priority! If you are not selected to adopt a cat from Super Senior Cat Sanctuary this is not a mark against you as a caring animal lover but may simply mean we do not have a cat that would be a good match for your family, or that we received multiple applications. We are happy to direct you to other amazing organizations who may have a cat that is looking for a family just like yours! * Please call your veterinarian upon completing the application to provide permission for us to speak to your clinic as part of the reference check. * *Please read the term of adoption after submitting your adoption application
