Rory the Void's Story

Birthday 07/18/2023.

Hi, I am Rory, just an absolute VOID. Black cats are hard to photograph because of the lack of contrast in our coat as we tend to sort of disappear, hence our occasional nickname of being voids. Of all the cats at Sunrise, I am told I am one of the most perfect voids at the moment, just two bright eyes in a sillhouette! I'm a solid black cat who came to Sunrise as a kitten with my brother Robin and my sister Logan. We are now one year old and still waiting, because we don't demand attention from visitors. We are all used to being around other cats; we are nonaggressive but a little on the shy side with humans.

We would be best in a home that wants the companionship of kitties running around the place, without all of that constant meowing, begging for attention, getting up in your business, etc. In other words, we would love to peacefully coexist in your home, and we would be fine meeting your other cats and making friends, and as for humans and all their petting and lap time, so far we really do not need too much of that. It is likely that in a home environment we would gradually get used to more human affection.

WE are neat and don't cause trouble; we are quiet and don't make a lot of racket.
