Rory's Story

Hello, I'm Rory!

I came into WAG’s care alongside my mom, Lorelai, and all of my buddies. Before that, we were rescued by the wonderful LAAS (Lillooet Animal Advocate Society). I arrived at WAG last summer and have been settling in ever since.

I’m a sleek, panther-esque beauty with shiny black fur and big, bright yellow eyes. I may look mysterious, but I’m full of personality! I absolutely live for playtime -wand toys are my favorite, and the faster they move, the better.

While I’m not the cuddliest cat right away, I do warm up with time and patience, especially once I feel safe and secure. Having a person or family of my own could help me come out of my shell even more. I can be a little jumpy, so I’d do best with calm, slow-moving humans who understand my sensitive side.

I’m also a bit of a foodie, shake a bag of treats and I’ll come running! I’m curious by nature and love to explore my surroundings. I’m quite the conversationalist too, offering soft, adorable peeps and meows as I tell you all about my day.

If you’re looking for a playful, expressive, stunning black mini-panther who just needs a bit of patience and love, I might just be your girl

My purrrrfect match:
will be ready for a long term commitment 10+ years

have lots of patience whilst I learn to feel comfortable with my new family

will provide lots of enrichment, scratching towers, toys, catio etc.

be proactive with my health for the years ahead.

will keep me safe and happy, forever.
