Rooney's Story

Rooney is a handsome two-year-old cat (as of 4/10/2026) who was previously without a home and was found wandering the streets. After being transferred to our care from Rush Veterinary Urgent Care, we were delighted to discover his friendly and easy-going nature, making him an ideal candidate for a forever home.

Rooney thrives on interaction and playtime, and he has a remarkable ability to jump up beside you and display affection. As a adaptable companion, he can excel as either a solo pet or, with proper introduction, integrate harmoniously with other cats. Notably, he has formed a bond with a fellow foster sibling and, after an initial adjustment period, has developed a positive relationship with another one.

Rooney is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV & FIV, is microchipped, and is neutered.
