RONNY's Story

NEUTERED MALE, APPROXIMATELY 1-2 YEARS OLD

Ronny is a special boy who knew he did not want to return to the outdoors after he was rescued from life on the streets. He is a shy, cautious fellow with unique markings, half of a tail, big personality, and beautiful light green eyes.

Once Ronny feels safe in your presence, his confidence level will take over and he will slowly start to come out of his shell. When his trust is earned, Ronny loves having his head and cheeks rubbed, pushing into your hand for more while purring and drooling with pleasure. With slow hand movements and a soft touch, Ronny is inclined to stay longer.

Ronny’s path to certainty is through food, especially squeeze ups. Over time, this gentle boy will take treats out of your hand and will come when called, frequently greeting you with chirps of appreciation.

When Ronny first meets his new people, he will be reluctant until he feels his new environment is safe. Once he gains confidence, he will come when called. He loves to be picked up and held against your chest, purring and making air biscuits.

Ronny’s toys are his amusement and you can often hear him playing and caterwauling by himself as he runs and attacks his furry friends. His favourite is his string toys and he enjoys interacting while playing. Ronny likes watching birds and insects from his perch and is very fond of his scratching post.

Ronny would do best in a home with a person or family who understands the importance of patience, consistency, and a very calm, gentle approach. He thrives when given time to build trust and would benefit from people who are willing to be adaptive and let him progress at his own pace. With the right environment, understanding, and lots of love, Ronny has so much potential to continue blossoming into the wonderful companion he is meant to be. He is ok with dogs and other cats with slow, careful introductions.

Ronny has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, and vaccinated. His medical records will accompany him upon adoption.

If you would like to be his new family, please submit an application using this link: HTTPS://CRPAWS.ca/adoption If you are interested in more than one CRPAWS cat, include all their names on your application.

Every application is considered carefully by our small but mighty team of volunteers. We will be in touch as soon as possible, normally in 3 days or less.
