Owner turn in due to medical reasons with the owner. Friendly cats, bonded to eachother. Did not do well with other cats. ***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NOW ***** Neutered male 5+ yrs old 10.03 pounds Vaccines given 9/11/26 No microchip ALT ID# 09-10-26 14 *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull on 9/18/26; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. Interested adopter(s) should email an adoption application to animalservices@applevalley.org or call 760-240-7555. Apple Valley Animal Services's Adoption Policy
An adoption application is filled out and approved. Potential adopters meet with the pet/pets they are interested in. If they have pets that can be brought into the shelter for a "meet & greet" with the shelter animal we encourage that to ensure there shouldn't be any major incidents and the pets can cohabitate peacefully. Once the adoption paperwork is completed the adopted pet receives a rabies vaccine and microchip prior to going home with the adopter of being sent for alteration.
