Ronald's Story
Meet Ronald! Ronald was a neighborhood stray, and when we met him he had a pretty severe old injury to his front leg, where he was dragging it around. He was living near a local feeder, hiding in back yards. We trapped him and took him home so we could find out if that injury was something that could be repaired, since we could see he was struggling to get around out on the streets. The doctors decided it would be best to have the front leg amputated.

Ronald came to stay with us in January of this year, and at first he was not interested in any human interaction. Little by little, he has absolutely warmed up and is finally ready for adoption, which was something we were not sure would even happen! He is definitely not a lap cat yet, but he does reach in for head buts and gets very excited for both his breakfast and dinner every day. He loves his toys, and has no trouble moving around on 3 legs.

He would be best in a home with an experienced cat owner, one that could give him the slow and steady adjustment process needed for a cat who spent nearly all of his life on the street. Please consider opening up your heart to this very special guy!
