Rona's Story

Hello, my furiends! One look into Mama Rona's beautiful eyes, and you will be in love! Rona came to Scruffy earlier this year with her kittens (also available are Coco & Trix!), and she was surviving outdoors with her babies; who knows how many litters she had before coming to Scruffy Paws! Rescued, recuperating, and not returned outdoors - it turns out Mama is a sweet but shy girl, just over 2 and a half years old; this tabby has been enjoying the comforts of her foster home while she waits for her furever family. She comes right up to you and wants all the pets you can spare; not OK with being picked up, but hey, a life on the streets can do that to a cat; give her some time and a few squeeze treats, and you will be on her nice human list in no time! Rona enjoys a game of hide and seek, but the secret to winning is saying, "Hungry, want to eat?" and watch her come running! Rona LOVES playing with a toy on the end of a pole, and she is happy to lounge in her cat tree, high above, observing all the action and adventures of the other cats.

Mama Rona lives with other quiet, shy cats and gets along with them. She will rub against them and enjoy their company, but we do not recommend a home with a dominant cat for Rona. Older children will be OK.

Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home.

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue!
