Romeo's Story

Romeo is a true companion animal. He just wants to be with his people. Healso really wants to be an indoor/outdoor cat. And an only (domesticated) animal. He would love a house with lots of land, not a lot of vehicular traffic (because he just sits in the street). He just wants to hang out with you when you're outside but wants to be inside when you're inside. He curls up on the bed with you at night and on your lap while you're watching TV.

He’s even great rodent control. He caught and ate an entire mouse in my living room. Great for your garden or barn. But he is NOT a barn cat. He is a friendly indoor/outdoor cat.

Romeo LOVES children. He runs down my block every day to go hang out with the children playing. They love him just as much as he loves them. He has never bitten or scratched a human in his life.

Romeo has skin allergies. He is allergic to chicken, duck and fish. We found a brand that he really likes and currently rotates between venison, rabbit and kangaroo. It's a little bit more expensive than regular food but it's not horrible. You can get monthly deliveries to save money. We did all the hard work and figured it out for you!

Although a companion, I wouldn't say Romeo is a cuddly cat. He lays on your lap but he doesn't love being picked up. He just wants to hang out with you. He comes when you call him. He's more dog than cat. He even likes his belly rubbed.

Romeo would make an excellent addition to any family. To apply for Romeo visit gratefulpawsnj.com/adopt.
