The Friends of the Stokes Shelter's Adoption Policy
Adopters complete an adoption application. We request vet information for any current or recent previous animals. We also ask for two personal references to vouch for the potential adopters animal ownership. It typically takes two to three days to process an application. Once we are able to get the application approved we call to schedule a meet and greet appointment.
