Romea (adoptable with bonded sister Antonia)'s Story
Mamma Mia! Here we go again

Hi there were Antonia and Romea, the last (but not least!) two kittens from our Mamma Mia! litter still waiting for our forever home. All our brothers and sisters have been adopted, and now its just the two of us a bonded pair whove grown up side by side, playing, snuggling, and comforting each other through every new chapter.

Im Antonia, a caramel-spotted tabby with the cutest white mittens and big, soulful eyes that love to meet yours when Im curled up for cuddles. My sister Romea is my solid tabby counterpart sleek, stunning, and just as sweet as can be. Were like two matching pieces of a puzzle different, but meant to fit perfectly together.

Were both gentle, loving girls who adore soft head rubs, string toys, and being held by our trusted humans. Once we feel safe, our purrs come easily, and well melt into your arms with affection.

We dream of a calm, kind home maybe with a few friendly cats who dont mind sharing their sunny spots or cozy blankets. Weve grown close while waiting for our turn to be chosen, and we hope that turn comes soon together.

Could you be the ones to give two sweet sisters the forever home theyve been waiting for?

Adopt Antonia and Romea, and let us bring our soft purrs, warm hearts, and sisterly love into your life.

Apply to adopt at ARFCT.org

Some very important things you should know when applying:

Our cats/kittens have been fully examined by a vet and are healthy and up to date on all shots/vaccinations unless otherwise noted. Adoption fees for adult cats are $250 ($265 if microchipped by us). Kittens are $275 (microchipped).

What our adoption fees include:

Adult cats have received a wellness exam, fecal exams to test for intestinal parasites, treated for any known/existing conditions to bring them back to health, SNAP tested for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), and Heartworm. They have also received flea/tick preventative, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on both their distemper and rabies vaccinations.

For kittens, they have received a wellness exam, fecal exams to test for intestinal parasites, treated for any known/existing conditions to bring them back to health, SNAP tested for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), and Heartworm. They have also received flea/tick preventative. All cats and kittens have received their distemper vaccination(s) prior to adoption. Young kittens will receive their rabies vaccination at a time appropriate to their age and size (generally it is administered by our vets post-adoption or at the time spay/neuter and microchips are done). The adoption fee for all kittens includes the future administration of their rabies shot, spay/neuter and microchip at the time of spay/neuter by our partner vet(s).

Specifically, if you are looking to adopt a kitten(s):
We are only accepting applications for kittens adopted IN PAIRS (or, singly, if you already have a young friendly cat or kitten of similar age at home for them to bond with). It's vital for proper cat behavioral development that kittens have a friendly fellow kitten or cat playmate at home they can grow and learn from.

For all applicants:
Our volunteers do our very best to match an animals needs with that of the familys needs and desires. In an effort to be transparent, please note that we just dont know how our individual animals, many who have been through prior stress or trauma before arriving at our shelter, will react around young children who are still learning what it means to respect an animals boundaries. We are happy to have a beneficial discussion about safety between children and pets. Applicants and their family members arriving for meet and greets will be asked to sign a liability waiver upon arrival and prior to meeting our animals. Please also expect to have at least 2 visits as part of the adoption process at our shelter- one for the initial meet and greet, and one for the adoption appointment if a match is made. Its important to us that we are properly matching animals to adopters, preparing our adopters for their special adoption day, and for a lifetime of happy pet ownership with your adopted pet.

Please double check your application for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting it to us. Please be as thorough as possible when answering application questions as the more you elaborate, the more information we have to consider, the more likely we are to have a full picture of the care, support, and love our cats/kittens will receive for their adopted lifetime and your particular application will be at the top of our mind when placing cats/kittens in their chosen forever homes. You can complete an application at ARFCT.org and submit it to our email at arfct.adoptions@gmail.com for consideration. Thank you!
