Roger Meore's Story

Meet Roger Meore, a 3-year-old dapper tuxedo gentleman who is, quite simply, the best lil guy. 🖤🤍

Roger Meore has perfected the balance of chill, playful, and incredibly lovey. He loves being near his people—curled up next to you on the couch, keeping you company while you watch TV, or stretching out in a sunny window while you work. He’s affectionate without being demanding, always happy to soak up pets and return the favor with quiet companionship.

When it’s playtime, Roger is all in! He enjoys toys and would be thrilled to have another cat friend to romp around with. He does great with the cat in his current foster home and would truly shine in a calm, quiet household where he can relax and be his sweet, gentle self. He’d also do well with kids, and while we don’t know his history with dogs, his easygoing nature suggests he may be open with the right introduction.

Roger Meore is one of those rare cats who seems to do everything right—loving, adaptable, handsome, and endlessly kind. If you’re looking for an all-around perfect companion, he’s ready to steal your heart (and your favorite spot on the couch).

His adoption fee includes:
• Neuter
• Dewormer
• FeLV testing
• Microchip
• Core vaccines
• A free 30-day subscription to Petcademy (24/7 cat behavior support!)
• A free exam at a ChewyVet clinic + a $50 Chewy gift card

Roger is FIV+, which is NOT considered special needs. As long as they're kept indoors and have regular, annual vet checks and routine vet care (like all cats), FIV+ cats have similar life expectancy and health outcomes as non-FIV cats. They can also live with other cat-friendly cats just fine. Learn more about FIV: https://www.denverkittens.org/post/fiv-what-is-it

1) Fill out an adoption application. Please note: we do not track special requests. If you have a specific breed you're looking for, please sign up for our enews (below) or follow us on social media to keep an eye on our cats/kittens as they come into rescue. Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to homes that already have another young cat. No exceptions. 2) If the cat/kitten you want to adopt is available, and we think you're a good match, we'll reach out to you to set up a meet and greet. This will typically happen within 24 hours. 3) The in-person meet and greet in the foster home is usually scheduled within 1-3 days. Setting up a meet-and-greet does not put a "hold" on a kitty. They are considered adoptable until the adoption fee is paid. 4) If it's a match, the adoption is finalized by signing an adoption contract and paying the adoption fee. All fosters need to be spayed/neutered before going home, so, especially for kittens, you may need to wait a few days or a few weeks, depending on where they're at in that process. Once the pet is ready to go home, please be prepared to pick it up within 24 hours. 5) Pickup will be scheduled. Kitty must be picked up within 24 hours of finalized adoption.
