Bearboa loves getting human attention for scratches, and he will come to you for collection. If you like a very passive, laid back, yet athletic type of guy, here he is! Bearboa seems to set his timer for small holds in one’s arms, but if you’re scratching the right place on his chin, more time is granted. He enjoys laying on the window sill, relaxing as he looks out the front window at all movements...people watching, cars or birds, even squirrels. <br/>He is slim and active. He enjoys reaching up to hands asking for play or petting attention. Bearboa is self-entertained; he does well as a solo cat or with another cat companion, when properly introduced. He is well socialized with cats and dogs of all sizes, and a purrfect gentleman! He is very swift on his paws, it's as if he almost glides. Hhe has a wall gym available to play on and boy does he show off! If you cannot find him, he is either burrowed beneath a blankie napping or playing hide and seek. If you spot him, just speak aloud, "Bearboa, where are you?" walk slowly by him, and if you're within his reach, you will feel him reach out and grab you or he will just give you a simple tap, he is a silly one! <br/>He eats well, dry kibble & wet and keeps well hydrated. He also enjoys his freeze-dried minnow or chicken treats.<br/><br/>Rocky Bearboa is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.<br/><br/><br/>Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.<br/><br/><br/>NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!<br/><br/><br/><br/>Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
