Rocky Balboa's Story

Rocky Balboa is looking for a new family!

Rocky came to us in late January/early February. He had collapsed in someones yard and they called Pet Partners for help. Rocky had an infection in his face that made it impossible for him to eat. He was skinny, dehydrated, and his fur was completely matted. The infection in his face smelled absolutely putrid.

Today, Rocky is a very vocal and chubby senior dude with a beautiful, soft new grown in coat of hair. He has no teeth at all, but still eats dry food. However, Rocky insists (very loudly) on being fed wet food too. Rocky adores Temptations treats and Churus.

Rocky does have a hole in his sinus cavity that starts in the corner of his left eye. Occasionally, he gets the sniffles, but some inexpensive drops from the vet clear it right up.

Rocky has been living in one of our cages since he was found (so about 8 months now). He is looking for a soft (indoor) place to lay his head for the rest of his life. We, unfortunately, do not know his age.

Please consider making this special guy a part of your family. He means a lot to some of our volunteers and he deserves a home, not a cage.

Before and after pictures included in this post. Please call 307-321-8727 (Joie) or 307-321-4024 (Pet Partners) if you are interested in Rocky. Permanent foster situation may be considered for the right home.
