ROCKET Maine Coon & Norwegian Forest Cat Mix HEMET, CA

ROCKET was saved by an independent rescuer back in late 2021. He was a young cat. Well fast forward to 4 months ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. ROCKET is the fourth one to be ready for adoption.


ROCKET can be shy at first. And then gets comfortable and gets all in your face. He is a HUGE boy. Once he gets comfortable he is curious about everything. He is such a sweet love bug. All he wants is pets and love. He really loves to play with anything and makes you laugh with his silliness. He comes running when it's time to get his can food. His purr box is very loud. He's looking for his REAL FUREVER home. BUT he has to be the king of his house.


ROCKET is a DLH NORWEGIAN FOREST / MAINECOON TABBY MIX. He is 20 months and is NOT good with cats, dogs or children.


ROCKET is currently located at our rescue in Hemet, California.


OCTOBER 2022: With all the needed social distancing, we are still doing adoptions. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. Please note that it is totally up to the volunteers if they are comfortable with allowing you in the cattery (COVID).


Steps 1-5 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS.


ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
7. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

Official Meet and Greets will take place at the Petsmart location where the cat/kitten is currently located at.


The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will do meet and greets at any of the 3 Petsmart locations listed below.


If necessary, the crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, once the adoption has been finalized. So gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.

RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
