Meet ROCKER one of the Stray Cats!<br/><br/>These adorable kitties are named after current and past members of the Stray Cats, a rockabilly band formed in 1979. Famous for a song titled "Stray Cat Strut"....these 2 female and 2 male siblings really know how to strut their stuff! Born to a feral mother at the Dollar Tree in Willows and in need to rescue, the manager reached out to Catnip & Cattitude. <br/><br/>This distinguished fluffy tabby has the look of a rock star! He's a super sweet and playful little guy. He is always first to the top of the tallest cat tree looking for a way to get even higher. A daredevil by day and a lovebug by night.

Erath County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

When someone comes in wanting to adopt, we first ask what they are looking for in a new pet. If they can describe what they are looking for, we will make some suggestions based on that criteria, and then let them go through the shelter looking at the adoptable animals. There are kennel cards on each kennel with information specific to that animal. Once they find an animal they are interested in we do a meet and greet with the person interested in adopting. If they have other pets, we recommend a meet and greet with current pets as well. Whatever animal the potential adopter chooses, we highly suggest a 5 day foster period to make sure the animal and the adopter are a good fit.

The mission of the Erath County Humane Society is to care for unwanted and lost animals, reunite lost animals with their owners and find homes for adoptable pets. We work closely with our community to decrease pet overpopulation and to provide a safe place for animals as they await their permanent homes.
