Rocco Taco

Say hello to my Rocco Taco:-) <br/><br/>This sweet hunk of a boy is 4 years young and full of love. He was rescued from a location I was helping (trap, neuter, return) several feral cats. I spotted him and saw how sick he was. The homeowner said he was a stray that came to eat. He couldn't breathe, and you could hear his congestion from feet away.<br/><br/>Rocco has been with us since last year. He has had several tests done to find out why he wasn't getting better after several antibiotics were prescribed. He also had a PCR test done to rule out any herpes and other viruses, and it was negative for all. It was suggested to have a rhinoscopy done. While having this procedure, to see if he had any polyps in his nose, which he didn't, they found a small piece of plastic lodged in his upper gum that they removed. The doctor said this would have affected his nasal passages. It took him some time, but he is great and ready for his best forever home. His eyes will water when he is stressed, so you will just have to wipe his eyes with a warm cloth:-)<br/><br/>Rocco is such a big sweetheart, and all he wants i to hang out with you, lie by your side, or play with string toys! He never knew what kisses were, and when I first kissed his forehead, he backed off, wondering, what was that! Now, he must have them and will rub your face. Rocco Taco is good with other cats as well, with proper acclimation and introductions. I don't have dogs, so I don't know his reaction, but with his demeanor, I don't see him being any way but good with them (proper introductions, of course). He is just so sweet and so handsome, you will love him! He was with me in Deltona, but he is now at our Orange City Pet Supermarket adoption locations.
