Roberto (Bob)'s Story

Long and lean with striking whiskers and soft orange fur, Bob (known more formally as Roberto) approaches life with quiet confidence. At first, he politely observes, but give him a little time and a few treats, and you’ll see Bob's affectionate, playful side unfold as a guardian of toy mice and all things that scurry. Feather toys, tiny mice, and anything that rustles are all fair game for his acrobatic leaps and proud “victory laps” around the house, toy in tow.

When the hunt is over, Bob settles into a mellow rhythm, happily lounging near his humans or cozying up with another cat. He’s independent yet loyal, curious yet calm, the kind of cat who thrives with a friendly feline sidekick and a household that appreciates his thoughtful, endearing quirks.

Bob is approximately two years old and would do best in a home with another young, playful cat. If you’re ready to share your space with a clever, gentle-hearted friend who brings both charm and quiet companionship, Bob’s your cat.
Bob was born 6/16/2023.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Roberto, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes.
