Robbie's Story

Robbie. Date of Birth: April 8, 2022.<br/><br/>One day I decided to hitch a ride with an H-E-B employee on his way to work. Problem was, he didn't know I was there until I began to complain about the accommodations inside his engine compartment. The H-E-B guy was confused; I wasn't his cat, and he didn't know what to do. Luckily, a Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue volunteer happened to be grocery shopping and saw his distress. Long story short, with SAPCR's help I was rescued, and now I've been fed, loved, and made ready for my forever home. I'm a sweet, somewhat shy girl who loves attention. As I understand, H-E-B means Here Everything's Better. Maybe that's why I took a ride there: I'm here, I can be your everything, and what could be better than that?

Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

Adoption applications must be submitted via email to saveacat@comcast.net or faxed to 713-529-2095. Kittens under the age of 4-5 months MUST be adopted in pairs, unless you already have a young cat at home. We have seen that kittens do much better developmentally and socially when they have a playmate to interact and grow with. This is a general guideline, and some kittens 4 months and older must still be adopted in pairs if they are bonded to other cats. Kittens are available for pre-adoption only and can go home after they are spayed/neutered. Our adoption fee is $150 (though Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue reserves the right to increase the fee for purebreds or any cat deemed necessary) and includes the spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV/HW combo test, rabies vaccination, three FVRCP vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, earmite treatment, and microchip. All of our kitties live in foster homes and are treated as a family member and given lots of love and care. Our adoption center is located at 2618 Newman St. Houston Texas 77098. We are open every Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5 P.M. Please check in advance if the foster will be at the adoption center. (Monday to Friday by appointment only if the foster is available and application has been received). Please note that we do not do out of state adoptions.
