Greetings all! My name is Rizzo and I'd like to tell you my story! I was a stray and in desperate need of help so I found my way to some kind people that brought me to the shelter. I had been injured for a while, which caused infection to set it. I was weak, dehydrated, underweight and could barely hold my head up. I was given medical attention that I so desperately needed. I heard the nice doctor saying "he may not make it through the night" but they gave me a fighting chance. And fight I did! I was alert and screaming for food the next day! ( I am a huge foody!) I grew stronger every day and now I am happy and healthy and ready to find my forever home! I am around 5 years old. I do hiss a bit when I first meet strangers. My staff feel its most likely a response from meeting unkind people on the streets but I warm up super quick and want all the love you will give! I seem to like other cats. I have not been tested with dogs yet. If you are interested in giving me a nice, safe, indoor home that I long for, complete an application today!
