Rivian's Story

Hello there, my name is Rivian, and I'm a stunning all white kitty with the cutest ears that curl just a little at the ends. I'm a young adult, full of life and hope.
When I was found outside, I was in pretty rough shape. My skin was red, itchy, and uncomfortable, and I even had little scars on my ears from scratching so much. But once I arrived at the shelter, everything changed. The wonderful people here put me on Hill's Science Diet Z/D, and guess what? I feel so much better! Turns out I have food allergies, so I'll need to stay on this special diet.
There's something else important I want to share about myself:
I tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). I know that might sound a little scary at first, but here's what it really means:
Some kitties clear the virus and eventually test negative.
Some carry the virus for life and stay healthy for many years, or even forever.
And some may develop illness sooner and need extra care.
The truth is, no one knows yet which path my life will take. But right now? I feel wonderful. I'm active, bright, affectionate, and full of curiosity. I adore attention, cozy spots, gentle petting, and being close to someone kind.
Because FeLV can spread to other cats through close contact, I need a home where I'm the only kitty, or where any feline friends are also FeLV-positive like me. I promise that if you choose me, I will fill your home with warmth, purrs, loyalty, and gentle love every single day.
My future family should know that I may need extra care someday, and I'm hoping for someone patient and committed who won't give up on me. But for now? I'm just a sweet, healthy young cat living my best life, dreaming of a family who will see my heart first.
If you're looking for a tenderhearted, grateful companion who will adore you forever, I would be so happy to meet you.
