River - the explorer kitten's Story

Hello, my name is River, and I am the purrfect explorer cat. I came to OCSP as a baby, and I had swimmers syndrome - which means that my back paws turned out. But I did not let that stop me! My foster mommy worked with my walking and then running, and now hopping - and if you did not know, then you would never be able to tell! I do have one imperfection - when I was born my tail must have been broken. So my tail has a bend in it and is always on the down side - but I would not ever know - that has not stopped me!

I am a bit of a growler when I go into a new place - it's just my way of communicating with the new cats. Once new fosters and I become friends, I am more than willing to play and share food and cat beds. I do like my hooman bestest though. A fleece blanket and a hooman to cuddle on? Yes please!!! I like puff ball toys that I can carry around in my mouth and chase - and I am always the first to let you know that I want the food!

Can I be the purrect kitten for you?
