Meet River!<br/><br/>River is a handsome little tuxedo boy with the sweetest face and a personality that is impossible not to love. His story began before he was even born. His mama was abandoned and left to fend for herself, and despite everything she had been through, she gave birth to an incredible litter of nine kittens.- River and his eight siblings.<br/><br/>Growing up with eight brothers and sisters has given River plenty of opportunities to learn the important kitten skills: playing, wrestling, chasing, climbing, and of course, finding the best spot for a nap! He is a happy, playful little guy who loves being part of the action, but is also perfectly content to settle down and soak up some attention. River has the most adorable tuxedo markings, bright, expressive eyes, and a face that seems to say. "what are we doing next?" He is at that wonderful age where his personality is blossoming every day, and we know he will bring plenty of laughter, love, and companionship, to his forever family.<br/><br/>After such a difficult beginning for his mama, River deserves a home where he will always be safe, cherished, and loved. Could River be the little boy your family has been waiting for? <br/><br/>Please note that river must be adopted with one of his siblings or to a home that already has a kitty close to his age.<br/><br/>All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for roundworms and other parasites as needed . Adoption includes a fleece blanket and discount coupons. <br/><br/>South County Cats is a volunteer-driven, IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our kittens are fostered in volunteers' homes. Most kittens come from rescue situations and some are not suitable for young children. ALL kittens must be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat or kitten. Please ask us about our policies if you have questions.<br/><br/>Adoption donation - $140 (cash)/$145 (Venmo) for kittens and $80 (cash)/$85 (Venmo) for adult cats and kittens over six months old. This helps cover the spay or neuter and care of this kitten and the spay or neuter of its mother and other household/yard cats to stop the uncontrolled breeding that leads to overpopulation and homelessness.
