River spent the entire summer on the porch of a local feeder after being evicted by his owners who got a new puppy . Dr confirmed he’s a senior cat (8-10) . He had a severe dental infection coming in that went to his sinuses causing thick brown and bloody discharge from his nose. ( remedied after oral surgery and antibiotics ) The smell of infection was atrocious . His ears were also infected and treated .We have done a FULL workup and extensive testing to assure he is in good health . He does need a thyroid pill once daily ( $13 a month ) He is FELV/ FIV negative . UTD on vaccines . He is as lovable as he looks and I know he’s waited a long time for retirement in love. We are committed to this helpless once forgotten street cat. He was sent to us for a reason . We know he has more to his story . River is a cat who will be your right hand man - always by your side , follows you room to room . He is an absolute sweetheart . He was housed with a female cat and does ok with dogs who are cat savvy , laid back and calm. He does not like male cats . He enjoys being the center of your universe . Older kids approved !
