Rita Houston's Story

Rita is a shy but wonderful kitty in need of a fur-ever home that understands it might take her a few weeks to open up!

Rita is a 3 y/o tabby who came all the way from Texas after being surrendered to a kill-risk shelter. Thankfully her and her sister were scooped up and place in foster down in Texas. Her sister found her fur-ever home, its now Rita's turn!

Rita has become besties with another pretty lady, Bonita, here in our shelter. After meeting, the two have nearly been inseparable since, and you'll often see them snuggling together on cozy kitty beds!

Rita spends her days hanging out with Bonita and the other kitties, lounging around, and getting pets from humans. She can be weary at first but loves pets! Consider welcoming this purr-fect feline into your family!
