Ring Pop's Story

Spayed Female • 6–8 Months Old • Tabby DSH

Ring Pop is as sweet and quirky as her name! This soft little tabby was found wandering the streets of Waterbury, CT, likely dumped, despite being extremely friendly. For a while, neighbors would take her in off the street, only to put her back out days later. Thankfully, one kind soul held onto her until we could bring her into rescue, and now she’s safe and ready to find her forever home!

Her foster describes her as a "weird little girl" in the most endearing way. She’s very chill, not big on running around or playing, and spends most of her day napping. She’s not a cuddler, but she does love attention, especially chin and head scritches and will happily lay near you, often at the foot of the bed like a polite little loaf. She enjoys affection on her own terms and is content simply being near her people.

Ring Pop is currently in a foster home with three other cats. She shows no interest in the resident male but tends to bother the females, so a home without other female cats would likely be the best fit. She was also introduced to a dog and had zero fear or aggression, cool as can be!

If you're looking for a low-key, affectionate companion with a funny, independent streak, Ring Pop might just be your perfect match.

Currently fostered in CT
Spayed, vaccinated, and vetted
Dog-friendly
Best as an only cat or with a chill male cat
