It wasn't the safest place for a little family, but it was all we had.</p><br/><br/><p>One day, a kind person noticed that one of my kittens was trapped underneath the market and needed help. As they looked closer, they realized there wasn't just one kitten. There was an entire family living beneath the building.</p><br/><br/><p>The rescue wasn't easy. One of my babies stayed hidden underneath the market, and despite everyone's efforts, no one could reach them. After a long day of waiting and hoping, my kitten finally came close enough for the rescue team to safely trap them.</p><br/><br/><p>When the rescuers met me, they quickly realized I wasn't feral at all. I was a sweet, loving mama who was still nursing my babies and doing everything I could to keep them safe.</p><br/><br/><p>Now we're all safe in foster care.
