Riggs's Story

Meet Riggs, a 4-year-old orange tabby with a big personality, an even bigger heart... and, well, a pretty big belly too.

Riggs is an incredibly affectionate guy who loves attention from his people. He's also very playful and still has plenty of that goofy orange-cat energy! He gets along well with other cats and would be happy to have a feline friend who doesn't mind his playful personality.

Riggs previously lived with young children and became increasingly stressed. That stress eventually led to inappropriate urination on the children's belongings. Because of that history, Riggs will not be placed in a home with children under 10. We want his next home to be one where his boundaries can be understood and respected so he can feel safe and comfortable.

Outside of that stressful environment, Riggs is a loving, social boy with so much affection to give.

If you've got room in your home—and maybe a little extra room on your couch—for one big, handsome orange boy, Riggs might be your guy.

Crazy Ladies to the Rescue's Adoption Policy
At Crazy Ladies to the Rescue, our goal is to make the best possible match for both the animal and the adopter. All prospective adopters complete an adoption application, provide veterinary and personal references when applicable, and may be asked to participate in a home check or virtual home visit. We do require prospective adopters to share photos of their home as part of the application process. This is not about having a perfect home, it simply helps us ensure each animal is matched with a safe environment that meets their needs. Applications are reviewed based on the individual needs of the animal, not on a first-come, first-served basis. Our adoption process is designed to ensure every animal is placed in a safe, loving, and permanent home.
