MEET RIFT — A BEAUTIFUL BOY LOOKING FOR HIS SECOND CHANCE<br/>Meet Rift, a gorgeous 2-year-old neutered male who is hoping someone will look past his FIV-positive status and see the amazing cat underneath. <br/>Rift is a handsome boy with plenty of personality — including a little bit of spice! He can be opinionated at times, and we believe he will do much better once he is out of the shelter and settled into a home where he can relax, decompress and build trust at his own pace.<br/>Rift is looking for an experienced cat home, ideally with someone who understands FIV-positive cats and is comfortable reading feline body language and respecting a cat who may occasionally say, “That's enough attention for today!” <br/>We truly believe that life in a home could make all the difference for Rift. The shelter environment can be overwhelming, and we would love to see what this beautiful boy is like when he has a quiet space, consistency and a person he can learn to trust.<br/>Rift is looking for:<br/>An experienced cat owner<br/>Someone familiar with FIV-positive cats<br/>A patient, understanding home<br/>Someone comfortable with his occasional spicy side<br/>A family willing to let him settle in at his own pace A forever commitment<br/>Being FIV positive does not mean Rift doesn't deserve a loving home.
