Ricotta (white/black, female) and her brother Parmesan (tuxedo, male) are a pair of four-month-old bonded kittens who are absolutely adorable and who absolutely adore each other!<br/><br/>Parm is brave and curious, leading the charge for his sweet sister Ricky, who is a teensy more cautious but will happily follow in Parm's paw-steps wherever he leads. Both love a good purr and cuddle session on the sofa, a romp around the living room, and are extremely social with everyone they meet.<br/><br/>Both Ricky and Parm are up to date on their vaccines, negative for FIV/FeLV, are fleas/parasite-free, and will be spayed and neutered in early December... just in time for them to join your family for the holidays! Backyard Cats of Bed-Stuy's Adoption Policy

I ask that everyone interested in adopting a cat from me starts the application process by filling out my adoption application! The more details you can provide, the better. You can find the app here: https://www.backyardcatsofbedstuy.com/adoption-application Once I've received your application, if I'm interested in moving forward I'll reach out to schedule a Zoom call (or sometimes an in-person meeting, where possible). I often have the foster join as well to talk more specifically about each cat's personality and needs. If the meet-and-greet goes well, and if requested, the potential adopter can arrange a time to meet the cat(s) at their foster homes, or they can start out with a trial "foster-to-adopt" period of one month, to make sure it is a good fit for both cats and humans. A cat isn't considered "fully adopted" until they have been through proper vetting (spayed or neutered, given rabies and FVRCP vaccines, tested for FeLV and FIV, microchipped, and dewormed and treated for fleas). I love to stay in touch with my adopters and often receive updates about their new pets thriving in their forever homes!
