Ricotta's Story

Hello! My name is Ricotta. I am about 8 months old and extremely shy at the moment. I am new to the shelter and have spent most of my time hiding so staff are still trying to learn about me. If you are calm and quiet with me I do warm up pretty quickly. I will rub on you, purr and even allow some belly rubs. Quick movement scares me at the moment so I will run and hide. I will need someone to understand I will need time and patience adjusting to my new home. I do like other cats but I have not been dog tested yet. Older children would be best for me since I am scared. Although that could change once I come out of my shell and staff get to know my personality better!
