Rhino's Story

Rhino was a stray captured by our sister rescue, For Love of Ferals, in rural Eastern Ontario. If you search through the photos on FLOF’s site, you will understand why he was named Rhino. He came into the rescue sporting a single porcupine quill in his schnoz. Ouch! The puncture wound is now healed, and Rhino has proved himself to be an absolute love bug, so he was quite possibly dumped.

Rhino is truly a sweetheart! Always happy, always friendly and always ready to play…maybe just not with porcupines?! Rhino is super affectionate, loves getting pets, and will climb into your lap to be held and cuddled any chance he can. He is very inquisitive and adventurous; exploring new spaces and meeting new friends are his two favourite activities! This is an energetic boy who loves to chase wands, roll around with catnip toys, play in tunnels, wrestle and chase other cats, and is fascinated by CatTV. He is clean and has excellent litterbox habits.

Rhino was fostered with Shere Khan, a majestic, calm and affectionate orange tabby who complements Rhino’s equally friendly temperament quite nicely. The two are best buddies and would love to be adopted together.

It’s hard not to fall in love with Rhino, as he is an absolute delight! He is sure to bring so much joy to any family!

Would you like to make Rhino, and maybe Shere Khan too, a part of your world?
