Rhett's Story
Meet Rhett

He's a trip! Rhett is gregarious, extremely active, inquisitive, and playful. He's constantly seeking attention and very friendly with people. He engages anyone who comes in the room, and likes to be next to them or on laps. Rhett has a funny "talk" that almost sounds like a human voice and would love to have a conversation as he is quite the chatterbox. He has a cute little quirk of carrying objects around the house - check out the video above!

Rhett really likes to play rough with kicking and play biting. He will also attack ankles and hands. His foster is working with him on this. His behavior is improving but needs a firm no and time to cool down.

He gets along with his foster's dog but he plays rough with cats and can be too much for them. He was initially found outside in the Detroit area. He was taken into a home where he was frequently fighting with the other female cat in the home before he was brought into our care.

Rhett is a sweet kitty who will need a home that keeps him active but where there isn't too much commotion where he might get agitated. He may do well in a home with older children or teens, who will keep him occupied and understand to leave him be if he's too rough.
