Reno's Story

Our newest adoptable, Reno
This guy is shy when meeting people at first, but don't let that fool you. He definitely adores his head rubs and he cannot deny it. Reno is around 7 months old, a DSH, and enjoys a good toy to help boost his confidence. He does share a room with other cats and likes their company, but hasn't been tested with dogs. We're sure with a proper and slow introduction he should be fine with them.
Even though Reno is a bit shy at first meet, he still wanders if there is someone out there for him. He watches out the window hoping to find a glimpse of hope. If you're interested in showing Reno a loving home, give us a call at 780-826-3230, FB/Email us, or simply drop in anytime in the afternoon.

Bonnyville District SPCA's Adoption Policy
All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered (if under the age of 6 months a certificate will be given to get it done at 6 months old), 1 st set of vaccinations, dewormed and had their ears cleaned ( if needed). Adopters will also go home with complimentary 30 day health insurance, some small starter bags of food and a free vet wellness exam ( for Bonnyville or Cold Lake vet clinic only). You can find our applications at www.bonnyvillespca.com Adopters must fill out an adoption application and have it approved. Approval does not always happen the same day, so if you are coming from out of town make sure you get the application approved before making the drive. To hold an animal for longer then 1 day, we do need the full adoption fee paid in full to be able to hold the animal for you. We do not deliver animals, adopters must come in person to meet the animal of your choice. We work closely with the Pet Valu store in Bonnyville, and many times one of our adoptable cats is hanging out at the store. Pet Valu has our applications on hand if our shelter is closed. If you aren't looking to adopt, there are many other ways to get involved. Volunteer, donate, become a foster parent. We hope to hear from you soon!
