RENEE - (ch)'s Story

Renee’ was brought to our attention by a kind human who had been feeding her after her previous owner moved away and abandoned her to live outdoors. She was in pretty bad shape with angry raw areas on her belly and backside, discharge from her eyes and nose, flea & ear mite infestation, and an infected mass growing in her left eye. She is estimated to be between 5-6 years of age. After some treatment and recovery time, Renee began to bounce back and look so much better! The mass in her eye was surgically removed and found to be benign, and not expected to grow back. Such great news! Throughout her ordeal, Renee remained social and patient. What a wonderful, special girl she is. She does not seek out interaction with other animals, but DOES enjoy her human time. She carries within her a peaceful energy that will be so nice for someone who spends a lot of time at home and wants companionship. We would like to find Renee a home without children or a lot of hustle and bustle. She is playful at times and likes to explore a little, but mostly wants to share cuddles and sweet moments with adults.

The adoption fee for Renee is $175. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped and has been blood tested and treated for fleas & parasites. If you would like to learn more about this very special kitty, please submit an application for cat adoption at www.savingpetsoneatatime.org.
