Rena's Story

Rena is the sweetest, chubbiest rescue kitty. She loves her person and wants to spend all her time near them but she is not a big fan of other cats. While she can tolerate another pet in the house, she would most likely prefer to be the only cat in your home. Rena was left in a carrier at the home of a rescuer, and she definitely had a home before.

Rena does love to eat and drink, and she needs to lose a little weight. Wet food is best for weight loss and nutrition, of course, so that should be her primary food. Watching her weight is going to be important.

She is pretty lazy, so increasing her activity with wand toys would be great. She does love playing with her catnip banana. Embarassingly, Rena is a bit too large to clean her butt effectively so her human is going to have to be willing to help her out with a wipe every now and then. (Sorry!)

Rena is going to give a lot of affection to her new person. SHe's FIV and FeLV negative, spayed, micropped, and up to date on shots. She'll be at Petco Union Square starting Saturday March 14!
