Remy's Story

Meet Remy — a beautiful long-haired young cat with a gentle heart.
Remy is a striking black long-haired boy, likely under a year old, who was sadly abandoned along with his brother, Mouse, and several other cats when their owner had to move due to development and left them behind.

Remy is bonded with his brother Mouse, a handsome gray-and-white cat, and the two are very attached to one another. Both boys are shy at first, but once they feel safe and comfortable, their loving personalities truly shine. With patience and kindness, they will reward you with endless affection.

Hi, I’m Remy! I may be a little timid in new situations, but I love snuggling close to my brother. I’m curious by nature and enjoy venturing out to sit by the window, watching the world go by. Chin and ear scratches are my absolute favorite—pet me there and I’ll start purring right away!

Remy and Mouse are looking for a calm, loving home filled with patience, affection, and plenty of cuddles. If you’re willing to give them the time they need to settle in, they’re ready to return that love twice over.

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

See our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
