Remus's Story

Remus is a gentle, thoughtful boy who is looking for a calm, predictable home where he can truly relax. Busy households with lots of noise and movement can be overwhelming for him - he's much more of a "quiet evenings and soft blankets" kind of cat.

Once Remus feels safe, he is incredibly sweet. He loves cuddles and pets, and when he's enjoying the attention, he'll even reach out with his paws to politely ask for more if you stop. It's the cutest thing. Lately in foster care, he's been coming into bed for snuggles and greeting his foster with little meows when they walk into the room - a huge sign of how much he blossoms when he trusts his person.

Remus just needs someone who understands that affection works best on his terms. He doesn't love loud noises, fast movements, or being picked up very much. If you respect his boundaries and give him the space he needs when he's had enough, he'll reward you by staying close by your side and forming a deep, loyal bond.

His favorite things? Fish-flavored food, cardboard scratchers, catnip, and string toys (those are his absolute favorite). He's playful in his own gentle way and enjoys interactive time with someone he trusts.

Remus isn't the life-of-the-party cat - he's the quiet companion who chooses you. And when he does, it feels really special.

If you have a peaceful home and a kind heart ready to meet him where he is, Remus might just be your perfect match.
