Reinga's Story

Reinga is a spayed petite, short-haired, diluted torbie. Reinga is one of several feral cats and kittens ACAT rescued in October. We estimate this little girl was born sometime in July.

The cats from this colony had a rough start. They experienced very little human interaction, food was scarce, and the cats had no warm shelter, doing their best to survive.
Reinga is a very curious girl and not afraid of exploring new things in her foster home, but she is still shy towards people. She will take a treat out of your hand, and she is learning to be pet, but she is not comfortable being picked up or held at all. We hope this is something she can learn in her forever home. She will need patient forever-parents.
Reinga is very playful and loves to chase the fuzzy wand. She has grown up around many other cats and would love to have a playmate.

Reinga is fully litterbox trained, has received all her kitten vaccines, a rabies vaccine, and is microchipped.
Reinga is fostered in Anchorage, and for more information call/text her foster caregiver, Silvia at (907) 717-9300. Reinga's adoption fee is $190.For general information, contact ACAT at 982-2228. Serious inquiries should complete ACAT's preadoption application found on the adoptables gallery page of our website.
