Reiner (Bonded with Brigitte)'s Story

Reiner has a heart full of love, always sharing it freely and unconditionally with everyone he meets. After spending his whole life with one family since kittenhood, Reiner was sadly surrendered at the age of 7 alongside his sister, Brigitte, when he started to pee inappropriately. Since coming into our care, we discovered that Reiner had underlying tummy troubles causing him discomfort. With the cause identified and treated, we are happy to report that his litter box habits have greatly improved! Reiner will need a gastro-friendly diet going forward to help keep his tummy healthy and happy.

Reiner is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle, loving nature. He is always the first to greet visitors and loves making new friends. Curious and social, he will trail alongside you to see what you are up to. He loves attention and affection—whether it is pets, cuddles, or gentle scritches behind the ears, he soaks up every bit with a happy purr. Reiner will be happiest in a calm, quiet home with no children. He gets along well with other cats.

To learn more about Reiner and Brigitte or to arrange a visit at the shelter, please reach out or fill out an application.
