Reign's Story
Approx DOB: 2018

Please read our Core Values prior to applying at https://furryfriendsnetwork.org/adopt-a-furry-friend/core-values/

Hi, I'm Reign, a.k.a. Honey Bunny, as my foster mom calls me. In 2019 Furry Friends was contacted by some Dickinson College students who found me on campus seeking shelter under a car during a rainstorm. I was completely naked (a.k.a. = bald)! How embarrassing! There were open sores on my whole body and I was emaciated. I was quite a mystery for the veterinarians and have undergone many tests and treatments. Long story short: I saw a specialist who figured out that I had allergies to A LOT of things, including dogs! I am allergic to dogs + little kids too (actually I just get startled at too much excitement, so bigger people best). I eat ONLY Instinct Limited Ingredient Rabbit dry food. I was on a monthly regime of allergy shots, but I've been doing great without them for the past 6-8 months! The allergy shots have helped me grow my long, beautiful hair back and my skin is no longer red. I feel so much better and look like the princess that I am! I even have my own throne (pillow) that I love to lay on and watch out the window. I absolutely love attention, will strike up a conversation with you, bat my favorite ball around, and enjoy being brushed. I would do best in a home without small children because I get startled by too much excitement. I do OK with other cats but require a slow introduction. It has been a long journey for me, but I am ready to find my fur ever home. I can’t wait for you to meet me and choose me as your own!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.org / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.org and look under How to Help / Foster Program / Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.

Bookmark our website to stay up to date on news, events, and fundraisers.
