Have you ever wanted the rare Velcro-Cat breed? You know the kind that can't get enough of you and sticks to your side every chance they get? Well, I'm Reggie, and exactly that, a beautiful light-colored tabby with spots and pure white socks that LOVES big stretch uppies and would prefer to be carried around the house with you than walk. <br/><br/>I was left abandoned outside of a vet clinic on the southside of Detroit in a carrier all alone. I have no idea why my family decided they didn't want me anymore, because I'm so sweet and cuddly, but thankfully someone was there to find me and bring me in, or else I don't know where I would be. I'm looking for my furever home now, with a family that promises they will always be there for me. I have a lot of love to give whoever wants to stick with me (you know, like Velcro!). I would be a great fit for someone who works from home or wants to get their first cat and can only adopt one.<br/><br/>I'm still a young kitty, so I'm very playful with lots of energy! I need a home with time to dedicate to hanging out and playing with me. I would prefer to be the only cat in the home to make sure I get all of the love and don't have to share any attention with any other kitties. With a slow intro to another cat, I can get along great with whatever animal I'm slowly introduced to, I love all the new fosters that have moved in (as long as they like me, of course!), and I think I might do well with a calmer dog as a buddy. I've made really good friends here, we get along and play great, and sleep together at night, but I do still prefer people pets, and laps over cats.<br/><br/>I am fixed, vaxxed, microchipped, FelV/FIV negative, and ready to meet my new family! I have all my claws, and if you provide vertical and horizontal scratching posts, I will use them. I'm also very patient with getting my nails trimmed.
